Course Description
This STCW 95 required course examines fire fighting techniques and control of fire fighting operations with emphasis on organization, tactics, and command functions. Because of the intense management focus, this course does not incorporate any live firefighting activities.
This course satisfies the following STCW 95 and CFR training requirements:

What You Should Bring
Student who satisfactorily completed the course in Advanced Fire Fighting offered by the Maritime Advancement, Training, Education and Safety Program through the Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies and approved by the United States Coast Guard, and have demonstrated knowledge and skill in command and control procedures related to the management of shipboard fire fighting through pre-fire planning, organization, tactics, and crew training. This course satisfies the requirements of 46 CFR 10.205 (l) (2), 10.205 (g), 10.401 (g) (1) and STCW 95 Section A-VI/3 and Table A-VI/3.
