Course Description

The tree-day Tanker Lightering Course is designed to assist mooring pilots with improving and practicing lightering/shiphandling skills. Class subject areas include proper communications, vessel approaches, operating conditions, and vessel-to-vessel interaction. Attendees will conduct practical exercises with two interactive, own-ship full-mission simulators.
